5 actions to be 1% better everyday

Everyone looks for the one (or more) things that would make their life better. I’m sure you’ve heard that it’s not money or fame that brings happiness- that depends on your life view. Here are 5 things that will make your life better right now:

1. Breathe- yeah I know, “No sh*t”. But on a serious note when was the last time you focused on rythmical breathing? There can be nothing more calming than focusing on your own breathing.

2. Get active- this can be as complicated as going for hour long gym sessions, or it can simply be get out for a 10 minute walk. Trust me, you’ll feel better.

3. Avoid Negativity- easier said than done in this current world. But this is everywhere, find it and eliminate it from your life, it can be in the form of items, or people.

4. Learn something new as often as possible- I am currently listening to Stephen Fry’s “Mythos” on Audible, its a fascinating listen. One which I would recommend.

5.The most important for today’s post. Set yourself a goal. One of the benchmarks of this blog will be goalsetting, goals give us substance and direction- it can be even as simple as “read a page of a book a day”.
